The Sensor 3 kitesurf bar from Core has received an additional upgrade to become the Sensor 3S bar! There was little to improve on this kitesurf bar, but Core has managed to introduce several innovative upgrades!
What is the upgrade from the Sensor 3 and 3+ bar?
Core has retained the strengths of the Sensor 3 and 3+ kite bars. The Sensor 3S Control Bar actually features the same materials as the Sensor 3 kitesurf bar but with innovative and durable upgrades. The most important aspect is that this bar will replace the Sensor 3 and 3+ bars. This means the Sensor 3 bar now comes standard with different line lengths, whereas the standard Sensor 3 Control kite bar used to come with 24-meter lines. The Sensor 3S comes with 24-meter Vario lines that can be split into 18 + 4 + 2 meters.
In addition to the standard options in line length, there has been a significant upgrade to the Easy-in Quick Release system. Core’s QR system had already undergone a massive upgrade after the Sensor 2 bar, but with this improvement, you can even reconnect your Quick-Release with just one hand! This results in super-fast recovery. The kite bar also features an even sleeker design with hidden line winders at the end of the bar, allowing you to easily adjust the width of your bar whenever you want. The bar also has an optimized texture for better grip and an adjustment of the EZ-bar width for super direct response.

The Sensor 3 Control bar from Core was already incomparable to its predecessor, the Sensor 2S bar. Almost everything about this kitesurf bar is new! The bar operates more easily, safely, and is stronger. The most significant innovation on the Sensor 3 bar is the quick release. It no longer uses a twist system but a push system. The new CIC (Core Intuitive Connect) system utilizes a ‘push-away’ release, making it easier to release. The safety system is easily recognizable with the red (safety) part above the chicken loop. After releasing, the chicken loop is easily reassembled by pushing the end of the chicken loop into the safety system and clicking the safety back into place.
The Core Sensor 3 kitesurf bar comes in one width size, unlike other brands. The bar can be easily adjusted in width from 50 to 46.5 centimeters using the new Stealth Winders and the Live Wire system. The redesigned floaters are attached to the bar but can move easily, allowing the lines to move more freely. As a finishing touch, the bar has a new grip in two different colors, making it easy to distinguish between left and right. The back of the bar even has a clear stop sign and a red stripe, allowing you to see immediately if you are holding your kitesurf bar on the correct side.
