All second-hand kites, kite bars, and kiteboards we offer meet the following inspection criteria.
Second-hand kite inspection
- The kite canopy is checked for holes and overall quality.
- The kite is inflated and left for 24 hours to ensure there are no leaks.
- Valves are inspected.
- One pump tubes are checked.
- All seams of the second-hand kite are inspected.
- Pigtails, bridles, and pulleys are checked for any signs of wear.
Second-hand kiteboard inspection
- Inspected for damage on the top and bottom.
- The rails are checked for damage or delamination.
- Fins are inspected for damage.
- Screw threads are examined.
Second-hand kite bar inspection
- Inspection of the safety system.
- Inspection of the swivel and depower system.
- Lines are checked for knots, damage, or wear.
- Line length and potential stretching of the lines are inspected.
