For those who are not yet familiar with the Supermodel 2021 kite from Reedin, the Super Model in short. The Reedin Super Model is a real all-round kite. You can use the Super Model 2021 for your twintip, surfboard and foil. The Super Model is a reflection of Kevin Langeree’s all-round sailing style. During Kind of The Air, the Super Model shows that you can be shot incredibly high, long and with great confidence. But the Reedin Super Model 2021 does not shy away from a kiteloop either. Are you more in the mood for a wave ride session? No problem for the Reedin Super Model 2021 either. The fast steering behavior and drift of the Reedin Super Model let you surf waves as if you weren’t carrying a kite. Is there almost no wind, and do you want to go out with a foil? The Super Model 2021 is also very suitable for this, thanks to its light weight.

What’s new?

But what is new about the Reedin Super Model V2 2021 kite? After intensive use of team riders, fans, Damien and Kevin Langeree himself, the goal was to make the Super Model V2 faster and more stable. And it worked. For starters, the leading edge seam has been moved. The displacement of the seam creates a surprisingly stiffer leading edge. Because the LE has become stiffer, the LE of the Super Model V2 2021 has been made smaller. These upgrades ensure that the new 2021 Reedin Super Model V2 is faster, lighter and more stable.
But that is not everything. A ‘Wingtip Tensioner’ has been added to the new Reedin Super Model V2 2021 kite. The wingtip of the Super Model V2 consists of many different parts, as this improves steering speed and bar input. The wingtip tensioner ensures that there is more tension on the cloth in the wingtips, so that the cloth can flap less and the kite feels better balanced, has a better low-end and pulls finer kiteloops.
Finally, Reedin fine-tuned the balance of the bridles of different sizes of Super Models V2. As a result, every size Super Model 2021 V2 now feels more the same, giving you even more confidence in your kite when you switch from, for example, your 12 to your 9 meter Super Model.

Of course, much has remained the same with such an incredibly fine all-round kite. For example, the Reedin Super Model 2021 kite still has the super stiff bridle lines for direct steering behavior. The fabric of the Super Model V2 is made of a triple ripstop from Teijin. This fabric is stiff and incredibly strong.

All in all, if you thought the first version of the Reedin Super Model was already good, the second version will blow you away!
