Reach 2021

Reach 2021, The North Reach is the all-rounder of North Kiteboarding and is intended for use in all disciplines: Waves, foiling, jumping, looping. What can we expect from the North Reach?

What’s new?
The Reach 2021 has received new, shortened bridles, making the Reach even more direct. In addition, the bladders have been reduced in weight, which benefits the low-end and drift properties.

Lightwind Optimized
The North Reach has acquired a somewhat fuller profile. This means that the kite has a good low-end performance and because of this you can usually sail the North Reach a size smaller than you are used to. In the larger sizes this means a good low-end performance.

Short, pulleyless bridles
The North Reach has short bridles with no pulleys. This gives the kite a very direct steering feeling and you always feel where the kite is in the wind window.

2-stage arc
The shape of the new North kites has been well thought out, and the result is the so-called ‘2-stage arc’. This means that two shapes are combined into one shape. Reach 2021

DuraLite Protection & Profile Transition Panels
An extra panel has been added to connect the leading edge to the canvas. This connection results in less turbulence and more efficient air extraction. You feel this in the air because the kite moves smoothly through the wind window. In addition to this extra panel, padding has also been added in a few places on the leading edge. This padding ensures that the kite does not lean on its leading edge on the beach, but only on these paddings. The result is less wear and damage to your leading edge.
