Light Rider
Playful yet powerful, the Astra is a bold all-terrain addition to your collection. Lighter riders often find it more difficult to control large, stiff boards designed for heavyweights. With this in mind, we wanted to create a board with a more responsive flex for lighter or smaller riders – a board that would offer more control in different conditions, more comfort and softer landings.
Astra’s shorter board length, narrower stance and basalt technology construction offer riders of all levels just the right amount of flex. The consistency and reliable grip gives you extra confidence to push boundaries as you get ready for huge jumps. With its super efficient bottom shape and rocker, the board sails quickly through the water and also flies easily into the wind. The medium flex is compact enough to deliver clean and powerful pop, yet soft enough to be forgiving and land on knees and legs on harder landings.
Optimized for lighter riders
The optimized laminate layout is made for lighter riders with a responsive flex pattern for explosive pop, softer landings and comfort on even the most aggressive jumps. Improved edge control for easy upwind tracking and confident boost, a result of the balanced harmony between girth, rocker and flex.
Narrower stance
Due to a narrow stance

Better foot positioning allows smaller riders to maintain control during every maneuver and landing. The Astra has a 20mm narrower stance in all sizes compared to the Atmos.
